Stroke and Turn Ofiicials Needed
YAWAMA Dragons are well known and represented as volunteers at meets we go to. Two officials we have will be graduating their children this year. We need for some of you to step up and become officials. Teams are starting to invite only teams that have great timers and officials as it makes the meets run better. We count on others to help at our meets at Linfield - we need to continue our great name. If you have questions please contact Deb Mandeville.
The Wall of Honor
The Wall of Honor continues to evolve with the addition of the YMCA National Qualifiers. We are happy to honor those athletes that have led the team from the past and set examples for those in the future. Thanks to Sherwood Swimming Association for their generous donation to the board.
Participation in YAWAMA Dragons builds lifelong skills. We have open tryouts for the team on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Come on down and join the excitement.
Swim Season
There are two swim seasons a year, the short-course runs from September to March and the long-course from April to August.
