YAWAMA Dragons Swim Team
The long course season got off to a great start with the Weyerhauser Invite.  Emily Stevens broke the 13-14 100 back stroke record and had a great meet.  Many swam in their first long course meet ever and the team was 66 of 75 best times for the weekend.  The team has it's own Mothers Day invite on May 8th and then goes back to Albany for their June invitational.  We continue to look for new members for the team and welcome all comers to the program (must be able tp swim a length of the pool on their front and back).

The Wall of Honor continues to evolve with the addition of the YMCA National Qualifiers.  We are happy to honor those athletes that have led the team from the past and set examples for those in the future.  Thanks to Sherwood Swimming Association for their generous donation to the board.

Participation in YAWAMA Dragons builds lifelong skills. We have open tryouts for the team on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Come on down and join the excitement.
