Active Older Adults
Active Older Adults resembles our mature audience at the YMCA. The following activities are offered for our Active Older Adults Members. Check out our Program Guide  and AOA Class Schedule for more information.

Walking Classes
Walking is one of the best fitness activities. It's safe and easy to do – you just need a good pair of walking shoes. We use the inside track as well as our surrounding communities.

Y Knit
for beginner to advanced.  If you've never knit and need instruction and support come to class. We will provide you with needles and yarn to get you started on the basics.  If you know the basics and want new challenges, come along.  We're a group of like minded people with a desire to share and encourage each other as we learn and experiment with new yarns and techniques.

Chinook Winds Casino
Day trips are planned periodically to Chinook Winds Casino for a fun day of casino games.   The trip includes a free bus ride provided by the casino.  Reservations for the bus are required in advance.  For more information contact Jo Anne Sallia at 503.625.9622 or jsallia@ymca-portland.org.  Information is also available in our Program Guide.
